Memorial Hermann is seeking an experienced nurse leader to oversee the nursing department, including inpatient units and the Outpatient Wound Care Center. You will guide daily operations, mentor staff, and ensure high-quality patient care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate has a strong leadership background, eligible Texas nursing license, BLS certification, and a minimum of 3 years in clinical practice with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing degree required or documented plan and timeframe to complete.
• State of Texas nursing license (or temporary/compact license) required.
• BLS certification required; professional certification in clinical area/management preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years clinical practice with at least 1 year in supervisory/management role.

Responsabilités

• Manage daily operations of a patient care department, including staffing and scheduling.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to meet strategic goals.
• Oversee program evaluation, quality of care, and patient experience initiatives.
• Provide leadership as charge nurse when needed and support staff development.
• Ensure safety, policy adherence, and budget/staffing efficiency.
