Position Summary

Providing ongoing supervision, direction and program implementation to our specialized team of Therapists and Family Engagement Specialists who are specially trained to serve our comprehensive service lines, to include: FCT (Family Centered Treatment), Family Preservation and IFCS (Intensive Foster Care Services). This team has been trained in a variety of intervention programs that utilize evidence-based models to children and families at risk for child abuse and neglect or have been impacted by child abuse and neglect. This position is responsible for ensuring effective program outcomes, compliance with fidelity to the models and accreditation standards, court orders, as well as the Department of Child Services service standards. This position requires training and certification in the following evidence-based practices: Family Centered Treatment, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Nurturing Parenting, Domestic Violence Services, Motivational Interviewing, Trauma Based Relational Therapy, and best practices in reunification of children/families. This position is required to minimally understand the impact of face-to-face hours and outcomes on the overall agency budget. This is a leadership position within our corporation. Leaders at Iris Family Support Center are expected to coach, develop, mentor, guide, support and teach staff to instill Iris core values, beliefs, vision and mission related to quality service to families and children, as well as one another.

Essential Functions

  • Oversight of the hiring, onboarding and training of a high performing specialized comprehensive team to serve comprehensive service lines to at risk families and children.
  • Ensure certifications and licensing are in place in a timely manner for all staff.
  • Completed Family Centered Treatment Supervisory certification within one year of employment.
  • Oversight of specialized team in their day-to-day operations, ensuring quality services to all children and families, including, but not limited to: staff are delivering high quality services at least 50% of the work week to children and families, maintaining compliance with all service standards (i.e, first face to face meeting, assessment timelines, progress note completion, treatment plan expectations, monthly reports) as well as ensuring fidelity to all evidenced-based practices.
  • Implement and oversee an on-call system that will best support comprehensive families during after-hours in case of emergency needs and support.
  • In collaboration with agency leaders, oversee program capacity to ensure budgetary expectations.
  • Oversee the implementation of effective tracking and monitoring systems to ensure compliance with program service standards, evidenced-based models, accreditation standards, agency performance quality improvement system and best practices in intervention programs.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate and communicate with referral sources to ensure effective outcomes for children and families.
  • Provide a minimum of one hour of supervision each week to team member, ensuring documentation expectations are met for effective supervision.
  • Provide effective and timely feedback to support staff evaluation, development and training activities.
  • Responsible to ensure all outcomes for the program are obtained, per service standard. (i.e. face -to face within 24 hours of referral, 80% of our families that are intact at service initiation will remain intact; 67% of our families will be reunified at the end of our service provision, 90% of our families will not be subject to a new child abuse and neglect report).
  • Ability to effectively implement personnel policies and procedures as outlined in the agency policy manuals.
  • Work in tandem with agency and program leaders to complete an annual program evaluation of all programs to assist with annual planning.
