Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Alabama is seeking an experienced Clinical Imaging Manager to lead MRI, CT, and X‑Ray across four outpatient centers including Huntsville, Madison, Athens, and Decatur. This full‑time leadership role oversees daily operations, credentialing, staffing, and QA to ensure exceptional patient care and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate holds ARRT MR/CT certification, prior imaging leadership experience, and a strong track record in multi-site supervision.

Qualifications

• Requires ARRT MR and/or CT registration; leadership experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of credentialing and accreditation processes.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to oversee multi-site imaging operations across several centers.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for MRI, CT, and X‑Ray services across four outpatient centers.
• Maintain departmental credentials, certifications, and accreditation requirements.
• Supervise imaging staff, including scheduling, training, evaluations, and performance management.
• Ensure staffing coverage to support extended service hours across locations.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and competency assessments for imaging personnel.
• Promote quality assurance, patient safety, and consistent imaging standards.
• Collaborate with radiologists and administrative leadership to optimize workflows.

Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Alabama is an independent imaging organization with four outpatient imaging centers, seeking an experienced Clinical Imaging Manager to lead our MRI, CT, and X-Ray departments. This full-time leadership role oversees daily operations across multiple locations and plays a key role in maintaining exceptional patient care, staff performance, and regulatory compliance.

Schedule & Operations

• Full-time leadership position
• Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility to provide leadership support as needed
• Imaging services operate 7 days a week, requiring the Clinical Manager to remain available for leadership support and operational needs

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and operational oversight for MRI, CT, and X-Ray services across four outpatient centers (Huntsville, Madison, Athens, Decatur)
• Maintain departmental credentials, certifications, and accreditation requirements
• Supervise imaging staff, including scheduling, training, employee evaluations, and performance management
• Ensure appropriate staffing coverage to support extended service hours
• Support hiring, onboarding, and competency assessments for imaging personnel
• Promote quality assurance, patient safety, and consistent imaging standards across all locations
• Collaborate with radiologists and administrative leadership to optimize workflow and patient experience

Qualifications

• Current Registered ARRT Technologist - MR and/or CT (both preferred)
• PreviousImaging leadership or supervisory experience
• Knowledge of MRSO requirements and credentialing/accreditation compliance
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multi-site operations and competing priorities
• Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to support staff across MRI, CT, and X-Ray services

Requirements

EXPERIENCE

• Must have 3-5 years relevant experience with at least two years of supervisory experience in related field.
• Demonstrated leadership experience.
• Must have knowledge of modern business and supervisory techniques.

EDUCATION

• Graduate of an accredited program in Radiology, Nuclear Medicine technology, or equivalent education background.
• Bachelor's Degree and/or CRA preferred.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION

• Candidates with relevant existing licensure or certification will be required to maintain that licensure or certification.
• Current MRI and/or CT registry required (ARRT, MR, CT).
