What you will do in this role:

  • Interact professionally with patients and families, gathering clinical information and past history
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify potential admissions
  • Complete detailed Pre-Admission Screens following policies and payer requirements
  • Educate physicians on quality, programs, accreditations, and regulations related to inpatient acute rehabilitation
  • Develop educational and community relations plans with the Program Director, Medical Director, and Nurse Manager
  • Serve as a resource and provide in-service/cross-training on rehabilitation criteria, diagnostic case management, coding, etc.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a 2-year degree; a bachelor's degree in a health-related, business, or marketing field is preferred, nursing preferred
  • Previous marketing/sales experience is preferred
  • Applicable and current license to practice in accordance with state licensure laws
  • Other professional licenses considered based on experience and training
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  • Successful healthcare experience, strong interpersonal skills, and experience working with physicians and healthcare team members
  • Clinical experience is preferred
  • Ability to travel within the community as needed
