Job summary

Texas NeuroRehab Center, part of Universal Health Services, seeks a Clinical Liaison to build community relations across Central Texas and promote the LTAC/IPR and Brain Injury programs in Austin. You will collaborate with Medicaid, hospitals, and practitioners to facilitate referrals and transitions post-treatment.

The role includes evaluating patients onsite when needed and gathering clinical information to support admissions decisions, leveraging an interdisciplinary team for cohesive care.

Qualifications

• Clinical background required, can include RN, PT, OT, SLP.
• CBIS (Certified Brain Injury Specialist) a plus.
• Minimum of three to five years’ experience as a healthcare marketing representative, preferably for a Post-Acute Brain Injury Program or Acute Rehab Facility in the Austin Area.
• Experience in brain injury and stroke rehabilitation a plus.
• Able to perform clinical evaluations as requested by the Admissions Department.

Responsibilities

• Establish strong community relations in Central Texas, including State Medicaid and local health and human services.
• Market facility services to potential referral sources like State agencies, local hospitals, and practitioners.
• Work with an interdisciplinary team to ensure smooth transitions for community reintegration.
• Perform onsite patient evaluations when needed and assist in gathering clinical information for determinations.
