Job summary

Luxor Healthcare in Kansas City, Missouri is seeking a Clinical Liaison to build and maintain relationships with local hospitals, physicians, and community organizations to drive admissions to our facilities. You will manage the admissions process, understanding policy, documentation, and required assessments, and you will coordinate with staff to ensure smooth transitions for new residents.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of admissions experience at a SNF, subacute, rehab, or healthcare facility.
• Excellent organizational skills with a detail orientation towards documentation and follow-up.
• Professional telephone skills for referrals and families.
• Clinical background required; knowledge of managed care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with local hospitals, physicians, and community organizations to generate admissions.
• Understand admissions policy, procedures, assessments, and paperwork requirements.
• Support the facility's public relations to generate a positive image and referrals.
• Maintain knowledge of regulations governing Medicare/Medicaid/Managed Care reimbursement processes.
• Travel between facilities to generate referrals and coordinate transitions between teams.
