Job summary

Ardent Health Services seeks a day-shift, full-time Assessment & Referral Clinical Liaison in Tyler, TX to drive admissions and coordinate patient referrals across hospital and partner sites. You will collaborate with clinical teams to understand payer sources, operations and regulatory requirements while building strong relationships in physician clinics, ERs and Home Health agencies.

Qualifications

• Requires an Associate’s Degree or equivalent in a managed care setting.
• Maintain a clinical licensure: RN, PT, OT, or SLP.
• Two (2) years of previous job-related experience.
• Valid TX Driver’s license and proof of liability insurance.
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate admissions to meet assigned census goals.
• Develop business and census internally and outside the main hospital in physician clinics, ERs, Home Health agencies, etc.
• Possess working knowledge of healthcare operations, legal guidelines, and payer sources.

• UT Health East Texas Rehabilitation Center includes a 49-bed inpatient hospital, 14 outpatient therapy clinics, 11 cardiopulmonary rehabilitation clinics and nine Olympic fitness centers, with access to some of the most advanced therapy techniques and care available.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Liaison is responsible for generating admissions to meet assigned census goals.
• The clinical liaison is responsible for developing business and census internally and outside of the main hospital in physician clinics, ERs, Home Health agencies, etc.
• In addition, they must have a working knowledge of healthcare operations, legal guidelines, and payer sources.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a managed care setting.
• Maintain a clinical licensure: RN, PT, OT, or SLP
• Two (2) years of previous job-related experience.
