Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center in Kingman, AZ seeks a Clinical Lead Therapist to oversee Therapy Services, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide interventions in accordance with professional standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical or Occupational Therapy or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience with adult/geriatric populations.
• Current state license to practice in the respective discipline.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) or eligible for Speech-Language Pathology.

Position Title: Clinical Lead Therapist

Department: Therapy Services

Reports to: Clinical Coordinator

Position Purpose: All KHI employees are expected to perform their respective tasks and duties in such a way that supports KHI’s vision to be among the kindest, highest quality health systems in the country.

Represent Therapy Services management, as the lead point of contact, for clinical and operational matters at the designated location(s). The incumbent shall be responsible for providing therapy services including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions consistent with the professional practice act and ethical standard approximately 75% of the time. In addition the incumbent shall supervise staff and the daily operations of assigned area(s). The incumbent shall provide assistance to the Clinical Coordinator on assigned tasks. The incumbent shall also be accountable for and contribute to program development, quality improvement, problem solving, and productivity enhancement in a flexible team fashion.

Qualifications

Education: A graduate of an approved four-year bachelor’s degree program for Physical or Occupational Therapy or a graduate of a master’s degree program for Speech and Language Pathology

Experience: A minimum of two years of clinical experience, working with adult and geriatric populations

Licensure: Current state license to practice in specific discipline

Certification

• BLS certification through the American Heart Associate or American Red Cross
• For Speech and Language candidates: Certificate of Clinical Competency (or eligible)

Preferences

• One year of management experience is preferred
• Serving people with physical disabilities

Special Position Requirements

• Exposure Category I: Expected duties have routine potential for exposure to blood, body fluids or tissues
• Travel between multiple campuses may be required
