Job summary

The Place for Children with Autism is seeking a Clinical Lead Supervisor to mentor center-based BCBAs, guide daily operations, and maintain a manageable caseload. You will coach, plan, and monitor clinical outcomes while fostering a positive, high-standard work environment.

  • Manage a small caseload of 4–5 clients while maintaining a billable expectation of 22 hours.
  • Conduct assessments and craft individualized treatment programs.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to BCBAs to develop clinical, professional, management, and leadership skills.
  • Lead and support staff management using organizational behavior management techniques to reduce turnover.
  • Implement quality assurance measures for clinical staff to meet goals.
  • Plan and co-present monthly group parent and staff trainings.
  • Maintain compliant clinical documentation, data collection, and reports.
  • Evaluate effectiveness of behavioral intervention plans through data analysis.
  • Provide BCBA student supervision.

The Clinical Lead Supervisor (CLS) is a vital clinical leader who plays a meaningful role in supporting and mentoring our center-based BCBAs while elevating the quality of care, strengthening team engagement, and contributing to the growth and success of the center. Working closely with center leadership, the CLS helps guide daily clinical operations and maintains a small, manageable caseload of comprehensive service clients. Through thoughtful coaching, strategic planning, and ongoing quality monitoring, this role ensures strong clinical outcomes while fostering a positive, supportive, and rewarding work environment for the entire team.

  • Annual Starting Salary: $90,000 - $102,000, based on experience
  • Eligibility to earn up to $11,500 in annual bonus potential

What You’ll Do
  • Manage a small caseload of 4-5 clients while maintaining a billable expectation of 22 hours
  • Conduct assessments and craft individualized treatment programs that directly impact each child’s progression
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to BCBAs to develop clinical, professional, management, and leadership skills
  • Lead and support staff management using organizational behavior management techniques leading to reduced turnover
  • Implement quality assurance measures for clinical staff (RBT, BCBA) to ensure we meet all clinical goals
  • Plan and co-present monthly group parent training and staff training
  • Conduct initial and ongoing client assessments and individualized treatment programs
  • Maintain and oversee compliant clinical documentation, data collection, and reports
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of behavioral intervention plans through direct observation and analysis of data
  • Provide BCBA student supervision to BCBA students
What We’re Looking For
  • A dedicated and compassionate BCBA who brings a balance of clinical expertise, leadership, and empathy to their work.

  • Organized and adaptable clinicians who can manage multiple priorities, maintain clear documentation, and navigate a dynamic clinical setting.
  • A motivator and mentor who enjoys developing others, giving feedback, and supporting team success.
  • Must hold active BCBA certification, and an active Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential in the State of Illinois.
  • A dedicated BCBA with3+ years of experience leading, managing, or mentoring a team of RBTs.
    • Ideally has some experience managing or mentoring other BCBAs and/or graduate level students as well
