Job summary

Spring Valley Hospital in Las Vegas, part of The Valley Health System and Universal Health Services, is seeking a registered nurse to join our acute care team.

Provide safe, competent nursing care, lead the healthcare team, and uphold Service Excellence standards. Requires Nevada RN license, BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP as required.

BSN preferred; one year acute care experience preferred. Benefits include comprehensive insurance, tuition reimbursement, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a Specialty course or equivalent.
• Current RN license in the State of Nevada.
• Current BLS Certification. Current ACLS Certification (adult patients), current PALS Certification (pediatric patients) or current NRP Certification (Neonatal patients) as required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Oversees and guides employees that are under his/her supervision. Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times
