Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Clinical Lead Respiratory Therapist to guide respiratory care within the Pulmonary Services department. You will coordinate clinical processes, mentor staff, and support the staffing plan to ensure safe, high-quality care across shifts.

The role emphasizes leading operations, developing associates, ensuring compliance with ACLS/BLS/NRP/PALS, and advancing quality projects in a collaborative healthcare environment. Night shift; 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree is required and RRT certification is preferred.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS certifications are listed for this role.
• CPFT/RPFT within 12 months of hire; AE-C/ACCS within 12 months for specialized areas.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory care procedures and documents in the EMR.
• Leads daily operations, workload management, and staffing assignments.
• Oversees associate orientation and competency recertification; provides guidance to staff.
• Attends departmental meetings and participates in multidisciplinary projects and quality initiatives.
• Maintains focus on safety, quality, and efficiency as part of a High Reliability Organization.
