Job summary

Join Parachute in Rolla, MO is seeking a Physician Substitute to join our center medical team. You will ensure donor health and safety, perform health screenings and exams, and work closely with center staff to create a welcoming donor experience.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid state nursing, paramedic, LPN or EMT license.
• BLS or CPR certification required.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
• Ability to work weekends, regularly or as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor donor eligibility and safety; perform health screenings and physical exams.
• Respond to donor reactions and provide care as needed.
• Collaborate with center staff to maintain a positive environment.
• Maintain health logs and test results with clinical oversight.
• Keep exam rooms clean, stocked, and compliant.
• Cross-train in all center functions including phlebotomy and processing.
