Job summary

The role oversees dispensing, inventory control, PIC responsibilities, supervision of pharmacy technicians, 340B program compliance, and serves as a clinical resource for clinic providers and Residency programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the dispensing of prescription medications
• Maintains inventory control over OTC and prescription medications
• Performs Pharmacist in Charge responsibilities defined by Maine Board of Pharmacy
• Performs supervisor role for pharmacy technicians
• Ensures compliance with in-house 340B program
• Serves as a clinical resource for clinic providers
• Acts as a preceptor for our Pharmacy Residency Programs
• Works with other PICs, Pharmacy Operations Manager, and Executive Clinical Director of Pharmacy on new initiatives and day to day operations
• Other related duties as assigned
