Qualifications

• Eligible for certification (ASCP, AMT).
• Experience in blood banking, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, immunology, and urinalysis preferred.
• ACCEPTED programs: accredited medical lab science program and relevant certifications.
• Experience with laboratory systems and data management.

Responsibilities

• Perform and analyze laboratory tests/procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare reagents, standards, and controls per prescribed protocols.
• Calibrate, standardize, and maintain laboratory instruments.
• Research and develop new procedures as assigned.
• Adhere to safety, departmental, and hospital policies.
• Utilize computer skills for daily lab operations and data management.
• Assist in training new staff and students, contributing to team productivity.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and perform other duties as required.
