Job summary

The Christ Hospital laboratory team conducts a wide range of tests under supervision to support accurate diagnoses and effective patient treatment. The role spans specimen preparation, instrument checks, QC reporting, and specimen storage for analysis.

Candidates should have a lab science degree or equivalent training, with preferred MLS/MLT certification and the ability to train staff as proficiency grows, all while maintaining compliance with policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree or CLIA-equivalent training.
• Military Medical Laboratory Specialist experience acceptable.
• Licensure/certification per CLIA/CAP preferred for high-complexity testing (if applicable).

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of laboratory tests to support accurate diagnosis and treatment.
• Participate in cross-training and competency across laboratory sections.
• Assist in improving processes and procedures within the department.
• Provide training to bench personnel and students as proficiency is achieved.
