Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking a skilled laboratory professional to conduct a wide range of tests and generate data essential for accurate diagnosis and effective patient care within a medical center.

Under supervision, you will participate in cross-training, quality control, sample preparation, and collaboration to develop new procedures; training of staff may be part of the role as proficiency is achieved.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology from an accredited institution (or
• Associate's degree in a laboratory science from an accredited institution; or
• Equivalent laboratory training and experience per CLIA 42CFR493.1489(b)(3)(ii); or
• Military Medical Laboratory Specialist training (50 weeks) and current/past U.S. military lab specialty)

Responsibilities

• Conducts, directs, or assists in special projects, evaluations, or research initiatives.
• Participates in cross-training rotations while maintaining competency across laboratory sections.
• Contributes to performance improvement by identifying areas for improvement and executing new procedures.
• Provides training to bench personnel and students after achieving proficiency.
