NeoGenomics is seeking Clinical Laboratory Technologists for the Flow department in Durham (RTP), NC. This role involves performing complex laboratory procedures, handling all types of specimens, and contributing to our mission of improving patient care through accurate testing.

Shift: Tuesday-Saturday, 3:00am-11:30am

Position Summary

The Clinical Laboratory Technologist works under supervision, performing laboratory tests and managing specimens to support our laboratory operations.

Core Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory tests proficiently, exercising independent judgment in your specialty.
• Follow procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting, and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure proficiency testing is conducted properly and maintain testing quality.
• Assess specimen acceptability, prepare specimens, and troubleshoot issues.
• Analyze specimens, review, and report results according to SOPs.
• Document Quality Control activities and act on QC failures.
• Prepare reagents and test solutions, evaluating and documenting results.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related sciences with laboratory experience or training.
• One or more years of experience in high complexity testing preferred.
• Certification and licensing requirements vary by state, including ASCP certification and state licensure.
