Job summary

Licensed MT in Florida is required; ASCP or equivalent certification is preferred. The candidate will handle various tests, participate in new equipment evaluations, and assist in training new staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a medical technologist in Florida.
• ASCP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Special Skills include: correlating results from tests and relating to treatment; multitasking and learning instrumentation/software.

Responsibilities

• Performs, interprets and reports clinical laboratory tests on blood and body fluids.
• Maintains competency in licensed areas and flexibly tests as needed.
• Ensures operation of analyzers and QC, calibrations, and troubleshooting; maintains supplies.
