Responsibilities

• Initial processing of specimens and verification of test orders in LIS/EMR.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and ensure safety protocols.
• Perform quality control checks and calibrations to ensure accurate results.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and protect patient confidentiality.
• Prepare specimens for testing and assist in the extraction workflow.
• Monitor inventory and restock reagents to support testing.
