AMERICAN HEALTH ASSOCIATES, a premier long-term care clinical laboratory, seeks a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) for morning and second shifts. You will perform a full range of tests, report findings to physicians, and adhere to CLIA responsibilities for testing personnel. The role requires proficiency in hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, and serology with strict quality control.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in biological science or chemistry required
• Completion of qualified medical laboratory science program or three years of acceptable clinical laboratory experience required
• ASCP or AMT certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Produce and report laboratory results in hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, and serology
• Perform, interpret, and record quality control data in all departments
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on instrumentation as prescribed
• Call critical results
• Perform inventory and maintain department supplies
• Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned
