Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily staff orientation, training, and competency assessment under the Laboratory Manager and Medical Director. The role requires leading technologists, planning duties, and ensuring quality control in a fast-paced clinical lab setting.

Education includes a Bachelor's in Medical Technology or Laboratory Sciences and ASCP certification. 3–5 years of clinical lab experience with 1–2 years supervisory experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Medical Technology or Bachelor's Degree Laboratory Sciences required
• ASCP certification (BOC) required
• 3-5 years clinical lab experience and 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred
• Strong analytical, computer and instrumentation skills required

Responsibilities

• Provides daily supervision of technical, clerical, and service employees.
• Plans and schedules duties and responsibilities of Laboratory staff with Laboratory Manager.
• Assists other technologists with technical problems and interpretation of results.
• Ensures adherence to safety policies and procedures.
• Maintains SOPs, records and quality control data.
