Organizes, and staffs the work activities of the laboratory during each shift to provide laboratory services to neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

• Associate's degree in a chemical, physical, or biological science or medical technology from an accredited institution, plus four years experience as a medical technologist/med lab technician.
• Master's Degree in science
• Certified as a technical specialist (ASCP)
• Two years of supervisory and/or management experience in a clinical laboratory.
• Must submit to color vision acuity test. Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position.

• Four years experience as a histology technician and have ASCP certification as a histology technician.
• BS degree in science
• Certified as a HT or HTL (ASCP)
• Two years of supervisory and/or management experience in a histology laboratory.
• Must submit to color vision acuity test. Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position.

• Bachelor's degree in molecular biology or other related life sciences discipline plus eight years molecular biology bench-on experience; or Master's degree or higher in the same field plus five years molecular biology bench-on experience.
• ASCP certification as laboratory technologist.
• Experience in coordinating laboratory work and knowledge of both technical and administrative operations in a full-scale molecular biology laboratory.
• Master's or PhD Degree in life sciences.
• Additional certification as molecular biology specialist (NCA), molecular pathologist (ASCP), clinical molecular/biochemical genetics specialist (ABMG), or clinical chemistry/molecular diagnostics specialist (ABCC) is highly desired.
• Expertise in assay development.
• Experience in various methods of nucleic acids purification (DNA, RNA).
• Knowledge of various platforms for real-time PCR (TAQMAN, FRET, etc.).
• Knowledge of workflow for sequence analysis and/or DNA-fragment analysis.
• Ability to prioritize required duties and responsibilities, to define problems, to collect data, to establish facts and to draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to adjust to flexible schedule, varied hours, or work on-call.
• Must submit to color vision acuity test. Color vision acuity is required to safely perform the duties of this position.
