The role includes leading day-to-day lab activities, validating testing procedures, and mentoring staff to ensure quality and regulatory compliance as the lab transitions to routine operations.
Location: Burlington, MA
Compensation: $45–$55/hour
Target Start Date: November 2026
Employment Type: Full-Time
Lighthouse Lab Services is partnering with an innovative healthcare technology company to identify a Lab Supervisor for a brand-new laboratory facility in Burlington, MA.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the laboratory during its initial build-out and launch phase. The Lab Supervisor will be one of the first members of the laboratory team and will play a critical role in establishing day-to-day operations, implementing processes, supporting validation activities, and helping build the laboratory from the ground up.
The laboratory will serve as a centralized R&D support facility, bringing testing and validation work in-house and supporting the continued growth of a rapidly expanding healthcare technology business.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter and experienced laboratory professional who is comfortable operating in a startup environment, creating structure where processes are still being developed, and taking ownership of laboratory operations.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building rather than maintaining.
You will have the opportunity to help establish a laboratory's processes, workflows, staffing structure, and culture from the beginning. The successful candidate will be comfortable working with limited infrastructure, identifying what needs to be done, and taking initiative to get it done.
Candidates coming from a hospital or clinical laboratory environment who are looking for an opportunity to take on greater ownership and have a direct impact on a new laboratory operation are encouraged to apply.
