Qualifications
ASCP or AMT certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) preferred.
Minimum of 1 year of clinical laboratory experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
Must successfully pass a background check, drug screening, and VA credentialing process.
Responsibilities
Perform complex laboratory tests and procedures across assigned sections.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instrumentation.
Analyze, validate, and interpret test results accurately.
Document and report laboratory data per VA regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare team members for patient care.
