Responsibilities

• Reviews and evaluates accuracy of lab data and reports patient results with all required documentation.
• Performs and documents quality control data and checks expiration dates.
• Maintains and calibrates laboratory instruments and equipment as assigned.
• Recognizes equipment malfunctions and troubleshoots per protocol.
• Works independently within guidelines and meets deadlines and urgent patient needs.
• Reviews and suggests revisions for test procedures and participates in new tests or instrument evaluations.
• Monitors inventory and coordinates replenishment of supplies.
