Qualificações

• ASCP certification or equivalent preferred.
• One year hospital laboratory experience preferred but not required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in chemical, physical, biological health science or Medical Laboratory Technology from an accredited institution.

Responsabilidades

• Adhere to CLIA and laboratory procedures for collection, processing, analysis and reporting of patient test results.
• Follow quality control policies and document corrective actions when tests deviate.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and notify supervisor or Medical Director as needed.
• Perform a wide variety of laboratory procedures using manual and automated methods.
• Maintain instruments/equipment and document maintenance as required.
• Review accuracy of patient results prior to reporting.
