Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follows laboratory procedures in preanalytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases of testing.
• Performs moderate and highly complex procedures as authorized with accuracy.
• Calibrates, maintains, and troubleshoots instrumentation.
• Ensures test results are reported only when the system is functioning properly.
• Monitors laboratory information system for data entry and results.
• Performs instrument maintenance and function checks.
• Evaluates test performance and documents findings.
• Inputs results into the laboratory information system and troubleshoots as needed.
