Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college/university in medical laboratory science - medical technology - clinical laboratory science - or a related science (e.g., chemistry, biology, microbiology).
• Clinical practice program completion within the last 5 years.
• Certification options include MLS/MT through ASCP BOC/ASCP BOR/AMT or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a wide range of laboratory tests across chemistry, hematology, microbiology and immunology.
• Perform quality control, QC review, and instrument maintenance to ensure accurate results.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and provide education on procedures and safety.
• Maintain proper specimen handling, labeling, and documentation to ensure patient safety.
