Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology or equivalent required.

• California CLS license required; continuing education to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Pre-analytical duties: specimen collection, labeling, handling, processing and transport.
• Analytical duties: perform tests across sections (Coagulation, Chemistry, Hematology/Serology, Urinalysis, Transfusion, Microbiology).
• Post-analytical duties: document results, report findings promptly, handle client inquiries.
