Responsible for performing patient blood collections and employee drug screenings. Conducts specimen registration, receiving, sorting, and storage to ensure accurate laboratory processing. Ensures proper identification and handling of all specimens. Maintains compliance with laboratory protocols and regulatory standards. Supports efficient workflow and quality assurance within the laboratory environment.

Phlebotomy Technician Certified
This position requires intermittent lifting, pushing, and/or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds; occasional lifting, pushing, and/or pulling of objects over 50 pounds; regular standing or walking with objects weighing up to 10 pounds; intermittent standing or walking with objects up to 25 pounds; intermittent sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time; and performing tasks with repetitive motions (such as typing). Also involves occasional exposure to risk of back injury from moving, lifting, or positioning patients, equipment, or materials; intermittent exposure to hazardous chemicals and fumes including waste, cuts/punctures, and bloodborne or airborne pathogens.
