Job summary

Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin is seeking a temporary laboratory staff member to perform CLIA regulated and clinical contract research testing under supervision. You will interact with customers to resolve concerns about sample acceptability and results, assist with reagent prep and routine maintenance, and support the lab during on-call, weekend, and holiday shifts.

The position is full-time for one year on the first shift (Monday–Friday).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, molecular biology, immunology, clinical laboratory science, medical technology, or related field is required.
• Associate's Degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology is required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and perform to all applicable regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Perform testing, as scheduled.
• Support sample evaluation and processing, as needed.
• Perform on-call, weekend, and holiday work, as scheduled.
• Maintain organization of departmental records, as needed.
