Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Clinical Laboratory Technologist license issued by the State Department of Health Services and/or ASCP.
• Ability to obtain 12 contact hours of state-approved continuing education each calendar year.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical work in Clinical Laboratory, analyzing specimens qualitatively and quantitatively.
• Validate results through participation in external proficiency testing and implement corrective actions for flagged results.
• Perform skin puncture and venipuncture for blood specimens using proper PPE and safety devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment/instrumentation as needed.
