Lake Butler Hospital, a critical access facility in North Florida, seeks a Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our lab team. The role covers a broad range of procedures and interfacing with clinicians to ensure timely, accurate test results.

The candidate will perform specimen processing, instrument operation, quality control, and reporting while mentoring staff and upholding safety standards. An AS degree with licensure is required, with 2–4 years of lab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate of Science in Medical Laboratory Technology with licensure as a Medical Lab Technologist.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 2–4 years in a clinical lab; greater than 5 years preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.

Responsabilités

• Obtain and process specimens from patients across age groups.
• Perform clerical duties and ensure accuracy of reports and records.
• Operate analyzers, calibrate instruments, and troubleshoot as needed.
• Mentor peers and assist in developing procedures.
• Follow universal precautions and maintain a clean lab area.
