Job summary

Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches, Inc. (MSPB) seeks a skilled Clinical Laboratory Technologist in Lake Worth, FL.

The role involves performing routine and complex tests across chemistry, hematology, immunology, and urinalysis, while delivering accurate and timely results to clinicians. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of clinical lab experience, an active Florida license, and ASCP/AMT certification.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Technology or related life sciences required; bachelor’s preferred.
• 2–5 years of clinical lab experience and ASCP/AMT or equivalent certification required.
• Active Florida Medical Laboratory Technologist license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex lab testing across chemistry, hematology, immunology, and urinalysis.
• Ensure accuracy, precision, and timely reporting of results.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment and analyzers.
• Adhere to QC/QA protocols; resolve discrepancies and document results in LIS.
• Collaborate with physicians to clarify orders and communicate critical values.
• Ensure proper specimen handling, processing, and integrity; support workflow.
