Job summary

Coffee Regional Medical Center is seeking a Lab Medical Technologist to perform and document laboratory tests with accuracy and speed. The role supports quality control, instrument maintenance, and adherence to safety policies.

Ideal candidates will have a BS in Medical Laboratory Technology, state licensure or registry exam eligibility, and strong communication. Clinical experience is a plus; training is provided for staff and students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or equivalent with registry exam eligibility.
• State licensure/registry exam required or grandfather clause as applicable.
• Previous clinical lab exposure is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform modern laboratory testing using current techniques and policies.
• Ensure timely reporting of results and notify physicians as needed.
• Maintain quality control, instrument maintenance, and safety standards.
• Assist with training of new staff and students when required.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient care.
