Job summary

Emerus, a leader in small-format hospitals, is seeking a Laboratory Professional to provide technical assistance and patient care across assigned lab areas. You will collect specimens, run analyses, report results, and supervise lab activities under the Laboratory Director.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in a biological/physical sciences field and BLS certification. PA and NV market requirements apply; travel to multiple facilities may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological/Physical Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science is required.
• Current BLS certification through AHA or ARC is required.
• Market-specific requirements: PA – Act 33 and Act 73 clearances completed within 5 years; NV – MLS/MLT certification and license or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests and analyses per protocols to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collect/process specimens and perform quality control.
• Maintain safety, infection control, and documentation per standards.
• Collaborate with Laboratory Director and staff for labs operations and patient care.
