Job summary

Emerus is hiring a Laboratory Technician/MLS-qualified professional to provide technical assistance and support patient care across assigned lab areas. You will collect specimens, run tests, and report results in alignment with protocol and safety standards.

The role requires a Biological/Physical Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science degree and applicable licensure; travel to multiple facility locations is possible as part of coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Biological/Physical Sciences or Medical Laboratory Science.
• Current BLS certification preferred.
• Market-specific qualifications: Pennsylvania requires specific clearances (Act 33/Act 73) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Performs lab tests per protocols to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Collects and processes specimens; performs safety and quality control tasks.
• Maintains equipment, documents results, and communicates findings to clinical teams.
• Assists with pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic laboratory activities under supervision if needed.
• Ensures patient privacy and safety, and travels to facility locations as required.
