Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a biological science.
• Experience with operation and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation and assay systems desirable.
• Capable of producing accurate results under time constraints and fast-paced environments.
• Good communication skills and ability to work closely with others.

Responsibilities

• Performs analyses on blood, tissue and body fluids to aid diagnosis, prognosis and treatment.
• Supports testing capabilities and maintains instrumentation and assays.
• Operates and maintains laboratory instruments and troubleshooting assays.
• Evaluates tests for accuracy and assists with interpreting results.
• Works with multiple computer systems to retrieve information and report results.
• May help with specimen collection and adheres to safety protocols.
