Qualifications

• Bachelor's Medical Technology or related field required; strong QA skills and attention to detail.
• Active licensure/certification as MT/MLS preferred per ASCP/AMT/AAB requirements.
• Minimum 1 year clinical laboratory experience; prior supervision/teaching a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing per approved protocols with independence and accuracy.
• Maintain equipment, logs, and QA/QC documentation; ensure timely reporting of results.
• Mentor and supervise within the laboratory setting and contribute to process improvements.
• Adhere to departmental policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in proficiency testing and continuous education to support accuracy.
