Job summary

Altasciences is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT) in Everett, WA to receive, process, and analyze specimens, verify data, and support quality assurance programs. The role emphasizes instrument maintenance, data review, and collaboration with pathologists and managers to continually improve lab operations.

Requirements include a BA/BS in medical technology or equivalent, MLS/MLT certification or substantial experience, and strong English, math, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in medical technology or AA/technical school equivalent.
• MLS/MLT certification or 5–10 years training.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word; data entry systems.

Responsibilities

• Process and handle analytical specimens.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
• Prepare, store, and maintain inventory of reagents and materials.
• Produce, review, and manage analytical data.
• Recognize equipment malfunctions and notify management.
• Participate in continuing education and QA activities.
• Cross-train to perform other duties with Laboratory Services.
• Assist in training new laboratory personnel.
