Job summary

Animas Health is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform specimen testing and QA in a patient-focused setting. The role requires an ASCP-related credential, ASCP eligible status, and an associate or bachelor’s degree in CLS or a biological science.

The position involves inventory management, interfacing lab instruments with the EHR, and collaboration with OR staff to ensure smooth specimen workflow. Competitive compensation is offered.

Qualifications

• MLT or MT (ASCP) preferred with appropriate licensure.
• ASCP-eligible or active certification encouraged.
• Associates or Bachelor's degree in CLS or biological sciences required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform routine lab duties.

Responsibilities

• Perform specimen testing and analysis per lab policies.
• Maintain QA/QC documentation and proficiency records.
• Oversee lab supply and inventory tracking and ordering.
• Coordinate IT interfacing with EHR lab instruments and vendors.
• Collaborate with OR staff and clinical departments to optimize workflows.
