Qualifications

• National certification exam as a laboratory scientist is preferred.
• Work experience: 1 year lab experience with high complexity testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process biological specimens and other substances.
• Performs and reports routine analytical tests under direction of medical technologist.
• Perform and monitor quality control within predetermined limits.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment under supervision.
• Support laboratory goals by demonstrating teamwork and service excellence.
• Look for ways to improve processes.
• Work with students during educational activities.
