Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree in laboratory technology or equivalent; microscopy coursework or certification required.

• 2 years of lab experience may substitute for education; MLT training/internship acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Collect, label, and process patient samples (blood, urine, swabs); prepare specimens for testing.
• Perform moderate-to-high complexity tests and point-of-care procedures; record observations.
