Qualifications

• An associate of science degree in laboratory technology or the chemical or biological sciences from an accredited college OR High School Diploma or GED equivalent with microscopy coursework or microscopy certification.
• Certification in microscopy or 1 year microscopy experience may substitute education.

Responsibilities

• Collect, label, and process patient samples (blood, urine, swabs) using standard testing equipment.
• Perform point-of-care and moderate complexity tests; record observations and interpret results.
• Maintain quality assurance on laboratory procedures and safety practices.
• Prepare samples for shipment to external testing facilities and organize data entry in records.
• Coordinate with clinical team to ensure smooth patient experience and assist in inventory.
