Zusammenfassung

The Laboratory Technician at Summit Clinical Research Solutions will run day-to-day lab operations, assist in clinical research including collecting blood, urine/stool or tissue samples, and processing/shipping specimens while maintaining all laboratory documentation.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of laboratory experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to collaborate closely with the PCR team; reports to the Laboratory Manager or site Clinical Research

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required; phlebotomy certification preferred with 1 year of healthcare lab experience.
• Ability to perform lab tests, collect specimens, and process samples per study protocol.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Aufgaben

• Perform lab tests and collect subject specimens per lab manual.
• Daily phlebotomy and specimen processing with proper safety precautions.
• Ship processed specimens to central or local labs in a timely manner.
• Track inventory of lab kits and supplies; prevent expiries.
• Maintain clean, sanitary lab area and calibrate equipment as needed.
• Enter data into CRIO and organize subject folders daily.
• Coordinate with CRCs and Research Assistants for filings.
• Manage deliveries, temperature logs, and inventory records.
• Communicate pertinent medical history to coordinating staff.
• Adhere to protocols and SOPs under supervision.
