Qualifications

• Technical school phlebotomy training or Medical Assistant certificate.
• Minimum two years of active phlebotomy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and proper blood collection techniques.

Responsibilities

• Collect biological samples (urine, sputum) and draw blood per schedule.
• Record blood draws and manage specimens per SOPs, paper or electronic.
• Maintain unit readiness, labeling, labelling tubes and supplies.
• Monitor vital signs and operate ECG/Holter within scope of practice.
• Ensure patient safety, confidentiality and quality data collection.
