Job summary

Summit Clinical Research Solutions seeks a Laboratory Technician to run daily lab operations, assist in collecting samples, and process specimens for clinical research. The role emphasizes accurate documentation, quality controls, and timely shipping in a fast-paced setting.

Ideal candidates have at least 12 months of healthcare lab experience, strong communication, and collaboration with the PCR team. Reports to Laboratory Manager or Site Clinical Research Project Manager.

Qualifications

• The candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred with at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform lab tests and collect subject specimens per study lab manual.
• Handle daily phlebotomy and specimen processing with universal precautions.
• Process and ship samples to central/local labs in a timely manner.
• Maintain lab documentation, inventory, and shipping records.
• Collaborate with PCR team and report to Lab Manager or Project Manager.
• Ensure safety, calibration, and compliance with SOPs.
