Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs daily lab operations including sample processing, result reporting/distribution, personnel direction.
• Interacts with hospital personnel, physicians and patients as to specimens and orders.
• Ensures compliance with policies and standards from TJC, CAP, AABB, CMS, HCFA and CLIA.
• Promotes quality patient care, safety, and cost efficiency.
• Maintains knowledge of system computers as required.
• Supports professional growth and acts as mentor to staff.
• Demonstrates Memorial Hermann service standards by providing compassionate experiences.
• Other duties as assigned.
