Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician or Scientist to join the Jamestown Clinic in Jamestown, ND. The role includes testing across all CLIA complexity levels and contributing to QA/QC, maintenance, and troubleshooting.

Applicants may be an MLT or MLS with ASCP certification, and must meet ND licensure requirements within the stated timelines. The position could offer a remote/hybrid option in some cases and involves day shifts.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technician
• Four-year degree in Clinical Laboratory Science or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Perform and report tests of all complexity levels per CLIA on patients of all ages.
• Quality Assurance/Quality Control monitoring, instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Phlebotomy and specimen processing duties; may assist in research, development, education, and technical consultation.
