Job summary

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO) in Ponca City, OK is seeking a skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to perform high-complexity testing and report patient results.

Qualifications

• AS degree or BS in Medical Laboratory Technology education required.
• ASCP MT/MLT certification or eligibility required.
• Clinical experience in high complexity testing preferred.
• One year of clinical lab experience in high complexity testing for BS/BA in Chemistry or Biology.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures for specimen handling, testing, reporting, and record keeping.
• Analyze specimens using approved testing procedures per SOPs.
• Review and release test results.
• Maintain CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA and safety guidelines compliance.
• Document quality control activities and instrument calibrations.
• Identify problems affecting test performance and report to senior staff.
